Ipamorelin is a lab-made substance known as a growth hormone releasing peptide. It belongs to a group of compounds that tell the body to make more natural growth hormone. Mechanism of Action

Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide, a third-generation growth hormone releasing peptide (GHRP) and selective agonist of the ghrelin/growth-hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R) on pituitary somatotropes. It stimulates pulsatile GH release while having minimal effect on ACTH, cortisol, or prolactin - the first relatively selective GH secretagogue. It is not FDA-approved.
