GHRP-6 is a man-made peptide made of six small building blocks. Its full name is Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6. It is not an approved medicine. It is sold only for lab research, and some scientists and study labs buy it for experiments.

In lab tests, GHRP-6 turns on a switch called the ghrelin receptor. Ghrelin is a natural body chemical that makes you feel hungry. When this switch is turned on, a gland at the base of the brain lets out growth hormone in bursts. Scientists study this to learn how the body controls growth, hunger, and how it uses fat and sugar.

GHRP-6 is not approved for people to use. Most of what we know comes from animal and test-tube studies, not careful human trials. We do not fully know if it is safe. It may raise hunger, and long-term effects are unknown. Anyone with health questions should talk to a real doctor, not use research chemicals.

mg vs mcg: one milligram (mg) equals 1,000 micrograms (mcg) — multiply by 1,000 going from mg to mcg, divide by 1,000 going from mcg to mg. Mechanism of Action

GHRP-6 is a synthetic hexapeptide ghrelin-receptor (GHSR-1a) agonist that stimulates endogenous GH release and produces notably strong appetite stimulation (orexigenic), mimicking ghrelin. Preclinical work also shows cardioprotective effects. It is not FDA-approved.
