LGD-3303 is a chemical that belongs to a group called SARMs, which stands for Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators. It was made by a company called Ligand Pharmaceuticals to help treat weak bones and muscle loss. Unlike some other similar chemicals, LGD-3303 is not a steroid and is taken by mouth. It is mostly used by scientists in labs to study how muscles and bones grow, and it is not approved as a medicine for people to use.

This chemical works by attaching to specific spots in the body known as androgen receptors. Once it attaches, it tells the muscles to get bigger and stronger without causing unwanted growth in other parts of the body, like the prostate. Studies show it can help make bones thicker and harder, which is good for fighting osteoporosis. It is popular in research because it builds muscle like testosterone might, but it seems to have fewer bad effects on certain organs.

Right now, there is no proof that this chemical is safe for humans to take. All the strong data comes from tests on rats, not people. Because it is so powerful, it can likely lower the body's own ability to make testosterone. It is sold only for research in labs, and it is not meant for healthy people to use. We do not know if it is safe or what the right dose would be for a person.
