Gonadorelin is a man-made copy of a natural body signal. This signal comes from a part of the brain called the hypothalamus. It tells the pituitary gland, a small gland below the brain, to get going. Clinics use it to help men whose bodies make too little testosterone.

Here is how it works in simple terms. Gonadorelin taps the brain's control center. The brain then tells the body to make more of its own testosterone. This is different from taking testosterone directly.

Clinics that offer it say it raises testosterone much like direct replacement would. Not much is written here about safety or proof from big studies. The information comes from clinic websites, not from research papers. Men should talk to a real doctor first. Side effects and long-term safety are not well described in these pages.
