Novo Nordisk has partnered with telehealth companies Hims & Hers, Ro, and LifeMD to offer brand-name Wegovy at a discounted rate. This move follows the FDA's decision to make semaglutide ineligible for compounding, effectively ending the market for generic versions. The partnerships aim to provide self-pay patients with access to the drug for $499 to $599 per month, significantly lower than the list price.
