From April 1, 2026 CVS Caremark is moving generic teriparatide (Bonsity) and the osteoporosis biosimilars Ospomyv and Stoboclo onto its major national commercial formularies in place of the brands Forteo and Prolia — at more than 50% lower cost per prescription. For people paying for bone-building injections out of pocket, the preferred-option switch is one of the biggest access changes osteoporosis care has seen.
